Nigeria: APGA Crisis - Court's Reinstatement of Umeh Not Binding on me, Says Okwu

Less than 24 hours after the Court of Appeal sitting in Enugu reinstated Chief Victor Umeh as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Maxi Okwu, who emerged in the factional convention held in Awka, Anambra State, Tuesday dismissed the appellate court ruling as an exercise in futility.

He said the court ruling which granted Umeh's application for stay of execution of the Enugu High Court order, which ousted him and members of his National Working Committee (NWC) from office on February 8, was not binding on his members.
