Liberia: ULSU Launches Scholarship Drive

The University of Liberia Student Union (ULSU) through its Interim Student Council Government has called on local and international organizations, government officials and well meaning individuals in the country to support its scholarship drive at the state-run university.

The scholarship drive is expected to be launched today, Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the UL main campus on Capitol Hill, Monrovia. Speaking at a news conference at the UL main campus on Monday, April 8, 2013, the Interim President of the Student Council Government, Mr. Patrick A. Suwah, disclosed that there are over 7,000 students at the university who cannot afford to pay their tuition.
