Egypt: Government Determined to Go Ahead With Reform March

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil said a neutral committee of the constitutional law experts will be appointed in order to amend l5 articles of the new constitution.

He said these amendments should be agreed on by all quarters. Addressing the Egyptian community in Kenya where he attended the inauguration of the new Kenyan President, Qandil said the most difficult challenge in Egypt at the present time is insufficient democratic practice, adding indicators confirm that Egypt's future is promising in spite of the democratic transition in Egypt.
