Gamtel forwards Modou Sarr and midfielder Hamang Conteh were left disappointed at their side's elimination from the African Confederation Cup, following a 7-3 aggregate loss to two-time winners Club Sportive de Sfaxien of Tunisia.
The duo were speaking to Observer Sports reporters shortly after their 3-1 second leg defeat to the Tunisian League leaders at the Box Bar Mini-Stadium in Brikama on Saturday. It is the second season in a row that the Gambian FA Cup winners failed to negotiate their way past the second round qualifiers. Last season they lost 3-2 on aggregate to Real de Bamako of Mali.
