The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) has so far recorded 32 reported deaths since the start of the long rains season early this month. The deaths have been reported in Nyakach and Homa Bay in Western, Bura in Tana delta and Narok in the Rift Valley.
Peter Outa, the KRCS public relations officer added that 3,909 households have been displaced, which is a total of 18,633 persons rendered homeless by floods.
