Eritrea: Inhabitants of Girjinai Administrative Area Called Upon to Sustain Prudent Utilization of Social Service Facilities

Dige — The Administration of Dige sub-zone has called on inhabitants of Girjinai Administrative area to sustain prudent utilization of social service facilities in the locality which include educational and health institutions, as well as potable water supply stations. It made the call at a meeting, during which the participants expressed readiness to utilize such facilities judiciously and said that they would promote community activities so as to improve their livelihood.

Mr. Suleiman Mohammed-Ali, head of social service in the sub-zone, further called on parents, local administrators and teachers to step up integrated efforts as regards raising the number of school registrations. Moreover, he pointed out that the Government has been putting in place health institutions in the remote areas of the sub-zone with a view to promoting the community's wellbeing, and called on mothers to utilize maternity centers effectively.
