More than 300,000 inhabitants of the Municipality City of Monrovia, mostly those in slump communities, are living in unsanitary conditions, disclosed Ms. Ellen Pratt, project Manager of "Fish Monrovia".
"According to the latest Joint Monitoring Programs' statistics (GMPs), we have a long way to go. As you look at the paradigm, you see that 35% is already cut off. 30% of our urban population is still practicing open defecation," Ms. Pratt informed this paper Wednesday.
