Kenya Business Leaders to Adress Global Summit

Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi and Haco Industries chairman Chris Kirubi will be among business leaders making keynote addresses at the Africa Global Business Forum slated for May 1-2 in Dubai.

Konza City chairman John Ngumi will also speak at the event organised by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in co-operation with the Comesa Regional Investment Agency .

More than 2,000 policy-makers and global business leaders drawn from Africa, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Asia and Europe will attend the forum

They will focus on challenges and business opportunities in finance, agribusiness, logistics, and trade across the economic blocs including Comesa, the East African Community, the South African Development Community and Economic Community of West African States.

It will provide a better understanding of the investment opportunities and advantages associated with doing business in the continent. Additionally, the participants will be able to identify the frameworks which drive growth and contribute to a favourable business environment, whilst networking with key industry peers.

The forum which will run under the theme 'Bridging the Continent to the World' is aimed at exploring investment opportunities while highlighting the strategic role of Dubai as a hub for connecting to Africa.
