Kenya: Rain Stops Road Works in Nzoia

TRANS NZOIA Heavy rains in Trans Nzoia have halted the construction of roads. Trans Nzoia Kenya Rural Roads Authority regional manager Laban Ngigi said the government allocated Sh39 million for the construction.

Speaking to the Star in his Kitale office yesterday, Ngigi said "The rains have really affected our services and we have halted the work until the rains stop."
