Somalia: President and His Delegates' Jet Back in the Country

The president of the federal republic of Somalia Prof. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegates who attended the African Forum in Addis Ababa arrived back in the country today.

The delegation led by the president was received and welcomed by high governmental delegation led by prime minister of the federal republic of Somalia, national assembly speaker, members of the cabinet top army commanders and members of Banadir administration.

Foreign affairs minister Mrs. Fowzia Yusuf Haji who was among the delegates who attended the African forum in Ethiopia held a media briefing and in her briefing; she addressed the outcome of the conference.

She informed the media that the conference addressed the dangers African continent faces most notably security. She informed the media that the conference ended in smooth way and measures to tackle insecurity were discussed.

The president of Somalia gave along speech during the conference addressing piracy, destructions caused by charcoal exports and illegal fishing.
