There is a reward of up to 100,000 shillings for anyone who may provide information that will lead to the arrest of criminals behind serial killings in Garissa Town. At least ten police officers and chiefs have also been interdicted for being involved in illegal activities that are behind the killings. Internal security PS Mutea Iringo says security agents will closely monitor visitors booked in hotels and those renting residential houses, and enhance patrols and mount roadblocks.
