Egypt: Court to Review Appeal Against Mubarak's Release
21 April 2013
A Cairo court has set Monday to consider the prosecution's appeal challenging the release order of ousted President Hosni Mubarak over charges of graft and corruption.
A court on Saturday acquitted the ousted president of graft charges.
In addition, a criminal court had acquitted Mubarak from charges of killing protesters during the uprising that overthrew him in 2011, but the prosecution requested that he remains in custody pending investigations over graft charges.
