Egypt: Qatar's Offers to Help Egypt Restore Looted Assets

Qatari Prosecutor General Ali al-Merri, in his capacity as UN special advocate on stolen asset recovery, offered to help Egypt restore its funds smuggled outside the country by former regime figures, said Public Prosecution spokesman Mostafa Dewidar.
Egyptian Prosecutor General Talaat Abdullah had signed a memo of understanding with the Qatari prosecution to promote cooperation between the two bodies.
