THIS singular act is like cutting off the roots from which the Zambians have grown. Seeking militant secularism above Christian values has severe consequences of sex and moral chaos. Given chance to choose between the two "evils," secularism and the declaration, I, as a Christian, can opt for the declaration, a lesser evil, than secularism because as a light in the world I am challenged to shine and overcome darkness and as salt of the world I must, penetrate, give taste and preserve the world from decay while maintaining my distinctiveness as a Christian.
