Kenya: Sisters Withdraw Theft Case

TWO brothers who were charged with obtaining over Sh52 Million from their family business were yesterday acquitted by a Nairobi court after the sisters withdrew the case against them.

This is after the sisters Jane Gathoni Munene and Joan Mugure Munene made an application before the court to have the matter withdrawn saying that they had come to an agreement and had no reason to pursue with the case. They also told the court under oath that they had not been paid or forced to withdraw the case but had done it on their own free will after they had come to consensus with their brothers.
