Kenya: Kericho Car Agent Goes Underground

A Kericho town car dealer agent has gone underground after swindling potential buyers millions of shillings. A number of buyers have reported the matter to Kericho police.

The vehicles they bought from him were confiscated by a Kisumu-based car dealer who hired the agent to sell the cars on his behalf. Kericho police boss Clement Gatogo said he is yet to get a full report from investigating officers.

"As of now I have no fine details on the syndicate but the moment I have the information, I will not hesitate to give my report," Gatogo said. He urged the police in Kericho to take immedi- ate action in arresting the agent.
