Nigeria: Ogun Organises Conference On Environment

An international conference tagged Uplifting the Environment - Ogun State Goes Green, which seeks to build awareness of the potentials of public private partnership for 'Going Green' projects and evaluate the importance of proper policy and regulatory environment has begun in Abeokuta.

The conference organised by the Wife of the Governor of Ogun State, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun in conjunction with State Ministry of Environment, is focusing on the great need to improve on the current level of public awareness about our environmental challenges and come up with the key to a targeted strategy of an in-depth dialogue with a range of stakeholders.

The 2-day programme would bring together international partners and investors with the hope of embracing global best practices for healthy environment.
