The Port of Greenville is already fully operational and busy with vessels berthing in and out almost every day. Before now, the wharfs of the port were quiescent because it needed to be dredged to accommodate more vessels.

Now that the management of the National Port Authority (NPA) has succeeded in dredging the port and has embarked on a massive restructuring exercise, they believe when the port of Greenville is fully transformed, it would conform to international standards and attract investors.
