Angola: Writer Releases Debut Book

Caxito — The book entitled "Kalunga a Senhora das Águas" with the Angolan writer Rafael de Castro Manuel was presented on Friday Caxito city, under the celebrations of the 33rd founding anniversary of the northern Bengo province, marked on 26 April.

The book, which won Bengo2012 Literature Award, comprises 103 pages and was prefaced by the Angolan writer Akiz Neto.

Speaking to Angop, Rafael de Castro Manuel explained that the book results from a research work on the culture and socialisation of the population of Nambuangongo municipality.

He said that it was developed some true histories on the habits and custom of Nambuangongo community.
