Uganda: Mubs Host Nkumba Aiming for Top Spot

In the mouthwatering University Football League fixture, Makerere University Business School (Mubs) can claim a share of the table lead when they host table-toppers Nkumba University this afternoon. Mubs currently lie fourth on the eight-team log but they are only three points behind Nkumba and badly needs a victory to strengthen their hopes of clinching the title.

However, that will not be easy against the free-scoring Nkumba side that has netted 19 times in five matches. On Saturday, second-from-bottom Mbarara University of Science Technology takes on fellow strugglers Ndejje University with both teams aiming for only their second win of the season after losing four of their last five games. On the same day, Kampala University will also host winless Ugamda Matyrs University. The latter lies bottom on the table having lost all their five games so far.
