Liberia: Verdict Expected in Four Dead Maritime Cadets Case Monday

Public attention is expected to be drawn to the Civil Law Court at the Temple Of Justice Monday, where jurors are expected to bring down verdict in a US$3m damages claim for wrongful death against the Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA).

Since the death of the four cadets, Henry D. Bryant Jr. Patrick Ansumana, George Kaba Reed and J Eddie Wilson on September 27, 2012 as the result of drowning while allegedly training on the Musa beach, family member have pointed fingers at the Liberia Maritime Authority (LMA) holding the entity responsible for the cadets' death.
