Last Thursday music lovers got enjoy a musical evening with Ghanaian’s award-winning female artiste, Efya. She gave a sterling performance with a great Africa Nominee band at Carnivore restaurant, Nairobi, thanks to Tusker Lite's Club 100. She enticed the audience who listened and danced the night away to an array of her songs, including Best In Me, Never Again, The Gateaway, A Moment’s Notice, Nothing, and Obianuju. South Africa’s Jazz maestro, Hugh Masekela once referred to Efya as being a vibrant version of Nigeria’s sensational Afro-beat musician Fela Kuti.

Former TPF contestant Amileena, curtain raised for Efya. “It was an amazing feeling to stage before the renowned international diva. I took about two weeks to practice, I feel glad I graced the stage,” Amileena told Word Is. Efya has won several awards including 2011 Ghana Music Awards for Best Female Vocalist, City People Awards and Best Female Ghanaian musician.
