Gambia: Waa Juwara and Co Trial Adjourned

The trial involving Lamin Waa Juwara, former Minister of Regional Administrations, Lands and Traditional Rulers, Hamidou Jallow, Principal Lands and Evaluation Officer, and one Tamsir Onasis Konteh, a prominent businessman, Tuesday failed to proceed at the Banjul Magistrates' Court before acting Principal Magistrate Dawda A. Jallow.

When the case was called in a crowded courtroom, the trial magistrate told the court that the office of the Director of the Public Prosecutions had communicated to the court that the Hon DPP could not make his way to the court, and asked for an adjournment.
