Eritrea: Residents of North-West Asmara Call for Upgrading of the Local Health Center's Capacity

Asmara — The residents of north-western Asmara have called for the upgrading of the local health center's capacity in line with the growing demand to this end. They further expressed satisfaction with the quality of service being rendered by it vis-à-vis the commitment and favorable approach of the health personnel.

Among the residents, Ms. Hagosa Michael and Ms. Sofia Hagos commended the impact made by the health center as regards community sensitization, in line with which accomplishment community awareness regarding various health issues is on the rise.

Ms. Asmeret Teferi, head of the health center, disclosed that it has been rendering antenatal, child immunization and VCT services, among others.
