Mogadishu — At least eight people were killed and several more wounded on Sunday after a suicide car bomber rammed into a government convoy at a main junction in the Somali capital Mogadishu, according to fresh information.
The attack at the busy key K4 junction targeted the Somali government convoy in the morning rush hour. State media said the interior minister's vehicle was in the convoy, but the official was unharmed in the assault, in which most victims were civilians.
