Nigeria: N4.7 Billion - Court Dismisses Bi-Courtney's Bid to Quash Charge

Lagos — An Ikeja High Court yesterday dismissed an application seeking to quash a fraud charge preferred against Bi-Courtney and its Chairman Wale Babalakin. The application was filed by the Bi-Courtney Ltd.

Babalakin and the firm are standing trial over alleged transfer of N4.7 billion on behalf of former Governor James Ibori of Delta. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is prosecuting them along with Alex Okoh, Stabilini Visioni Ltd. and Renix Nig. Ltd.
