Nigeria: Bwari Communities Warn FCTA Against Moving Villages Into Their Land

A community group under the umbrella of "the original inhabitants of Shere -Galuwayi, Sheregwari and Shekoro communities" in Bwari Area Council of the FCT, has expressed disaffection over the plans by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to relocate and resettle some communities in their ancestral land.

Consequently, the group has warned the FCTA to rescind its decision to completely move locals of Utako, Maje, Yakubu, Zhilu and Kpaadna to the Galauwayi-Shere resettlements centre located in their communities.
