Kenya: Kitale Fraud Case for May 16

A man charged for falsely obtaining Sh113,000 from another by a Kitale court has denied the charges. Harrison Omuse, along with others, allegedly obtained money from Gilbert Bundi by falsely pretending to sell him a piece of land on November 14, 2012.

The prosecution said the incident happened at Seumu village in Cherangany district. Chief magistrate Maxwell Gicheru freed the accused on Sh200,000 bond with the surety of a similar amount. The case will be mentioned on May 16 and will be heard on August 21.
