President Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka arrives in Uganda on Saturday to participate in the Commonwealth Local Government conference. Vellupillai Kanathan consul general for Sri Lanka in Uganda said the head of state would spend four days in Uganda.
"He will be a key note speaker at the conference. The next commonwealth will be hosted by Sri Lanka in two years and so he will the next chair for it," Kanathan said. He said there were a number of Sri Lanka investors in Uganda and more have showed interests in coming.
