Eritrea: Dandiere-Genet Inhabitants Integrate Financial and Labor Resources With a View to Expanding the Scope of the Micro-Dam Within

Mendefera — The inhabitants of Dandiere-Genet village are engaged in integrating their financial and labor resources with a view to expanding the scope of the micro-dam in the area, and thereby ensure sustainable water supply.

They further indicated that the micro-dam has not been impounding ample volume of water, giving rise to dropping underground water level, and said that the community venture is expected to make adequate impact as experts from the Ministry of Agriculture are taking part in the process.
