Kenyan NGO Teaches Court Routine
By Martin Mwita, 14 May 2013
A human rights organisation has launched a public awareness campaign on election petitions filed at Mombasa law courts. Kituo cha Sheria over the weekend started using plays to educate members of the public court procedures.
The project dubbed "Go Matatu" carries residents for free and passengers are sensitised on courtprocedures.
Speaking during one of the plays at a Mombasa theatre, legal officer Benjamin Maina said "We want Mombasa residents to understand the court process on election cases."
