The Press Union of Liberia is expected to make an official pronouncement on the ongoing news blackout on the presidency following threats the Director of the Executive Protective Service (EPS) against them during the World Press Freedom Day in Buchanan, Grand Bassa.
The decision is likely to include a boycott of the Ministry of Information Cultural and Tourism (MICAT) regular press briefing, which in many cases is filled with news from the presidency.
