Kenya: Conserve Water, Says Governor

Nyandarua governor Daniel Waithaka has said despite Nyandarua being an agriculturally rich region, it lacks industries to help boost its economy.

Waithaka said the county is bestowed with a lot of water which is more beneficial to Nyandarua's neighbours than the locals. He asked the residents to "appreciate this natural resource and use it appropriately so that it can lift up the resident's standard of living. Waithaka was speaking at a public meeting at Gatimu Ward in Nyandarua West.
