Tanzania: Msigwa, 70 Others Charged Amidst Tight Security

Iringa — IRINGA Urban MP (Chadema) Reverend Peter Msigwa and 70 other people appeared before the Resident Magistrate's Court here charged with incitement, taking part in a riot and unlawful assembly and malicious damage to property.

The accused persons denied the charges before Resident Magistrate Godfrey Isaya. The magistrate granted them bail on condition that each should secure one reliable surety who should sign a 1m/- bond.
