Tanzania: Hamad Calls On Security Forces to Be Vigilant

Zanzibar — FIRST Vice-President Seif Sharif Hamad on Monday expressed his concern over rising security and called on members of the security forces to spare no effort in protecting the country and its people.

Hamad made the call when talking with Tanzania People's Defence Forces (TPDF) Brigadier-General Sharif Sherif Othman, who paid him a courtesy call at his office. The vice-president stressed that defence and security forces had a responsibility to protect the people.
