Djibouti, Japan Discuss Geothermal Co-Operation

Djiboutian Minister of Energy Ali Yacoub Mohamoud and Japanese Ambassador to Djibouti Atsushi Nishioka discussed the possible joint development of geothermal energy in Djibouti Wednesday (May 22nd), the Djiboutian Information Agency reported.

Mohamoud expressed Djibouti's desire to develop geothermal energy as a way to move towards energy independence, which Nishioka said Japan will support.
