Zimbabwe: Tsvangirai Reads Riot Act to Aspiring Parliamentary Candidates

The MDC-T President Morgan Tsvangirai on Friday read the riot act to aspiring parliamentarians from his party, warning them against polluting the primary elections with vote buying, intimidation and violence.

The internal process to choose the makeup of the party team to contest the elections kicks off in Harare on Saturday, amid reports some of the candidates were determined to bulldoze their way into parliament through vote buying. Manicaland province will be the last to have the exercise on 1st June.
