Gusau — About 2000 children in Bagega, Abare, Dareta and Yargalma areas of Zamfara State, where the lead poisoning incident occurred are currently undergoing medical test by Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF), the state's Commissioner of Environment, Alhaji Mukhtar Lugga, has said.
Speaking to our correspondent yesterday, Lugga said the soil remediation exercise going on Bagega is at 90 per cent completion stage and that the exercise would continue until all contaminated soil have been evacuated.
