Namibia: A Glimpse Into the Lives of Dilish and Mariah

Windhoek — A crazy bunch of silly but quite ambitious girls they are, but then the rupture that is Big Brother tore Dillish Mathews, Mariah Nepembe and Tjiuna Kauapirirua apart.

The remaining one of the three musketeers, Tjiuna Kauapiriua believing that their friendship would be stronger after the next three months is over the moon for her girlfriends, and believes that there is no doubt they would come home with the moola. "But of course they have it in them; they are both smart and ambitious. I know Mariah can look very ignorant but that is only if you judge the book by its cover. They are goofy, funny and so crazy and it is clear Africa loves them. Yeah and of course they are beautiful," she beams.

Dillish according to Kauapirirua, is the owner of the hair boutique, High Definition in the BPI House and wears a size five (5) shoe and would not mind getting totally besotted on life with Johnny Walker Black. "Dillish though not talking a lot about herself is very excited about becoming a really successful businesswoman in the near future. She is also the most caring person that I have ever met though she may seem a bit cold and superficial to others," tells Tjiuna.

Dirty Kandeshi, as Mariah is fondly known in her home country after featuring in the 'Dirty Kandeshi' music video of the Namibian music group PDK, is also a well-known radio presenter. She too have dreams of becoming a very influential public figure and to change lives of disadvantaged people. "Yes, people say she is crazy, yeah she is, we have danced on tables too but Mariah is just a humble girl who wants to change people's lives for the good," Tjiuna says.

Maria with her size six (6) feet firmly on the ground, fighting for good causes started up a movement , The Cause, with her partner in Big Brother, Dillish, and radio presenter, Chi-Chi, in an effort to raise awareness about Cancer. Mariah Nepembe finished school at the David Bezuidenhoudt Secondary School and was a radio presenter with Fresh Fm shortly before joining Big Brother House: The Chase.

Along with local comedian, Slick the Dick, Mariah hosted the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMAs) 2013 two months ago.
