Liberia: Adherence to Rule of Law - New Lofa County Judge Vows to Uphold Law

Monrovia - The newly-commissioned Judge of the 10th Judicial Circuit Court of Lofa County is not taking her assignment in Lofa County lightly after vowing to adhere to the rules of law in a county noted for ethnic violence.

Cllr. Nancy Sammy who took over from the late Resident Judge of the 10th Judicial Court of Lofa County Emmanuel Kollie was the only female among the four judges appointed by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and confirmed by the Senate and commissioned by the Chief Justice Francis S. Korkpor Tuesday.
