Nairobi — President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged security forces to deal firmly with drug traffickers in the country. Speaking when he officiated the 50th Madaraka Day celebrations at the Nyayo National stadium in Nairobi, the President said he was concerned with the increased use of drugs amongst the youth, particularly in urban areas, which contributes to school drop outs.
Kenyatta said the government will ensure it protects young people who have been the most vulnerable and easy targets who are also used to peddle and consume drugs.
