Nigeria: Fashola Hails Dosumu As Defender of Human Rights

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), Monday joined other prominent Nigerians to mourn the passing on of a chieftain of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), Dr. Wahab Dosunmu, describing the deceased as a passionate defender of human rights and democratic governance which informed his principled stand on the June 12, 1993 mandate of late Chief MKO Abiola.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello, Fashola said Dosunmu, who was a Second Republic Minister, was a man, who contributed his quota to his state and nation as an astute politician, brilliant technocrat and rights activist. He added that he would be missed by all.
