Zambia: Court Nods Rupiah Banda's Contempt Application

LUSAKA High Court Judge-in-Charge Jane Kabuka has granted former Republican President Rupiah Banda leave to commence contempt proceedings against Immigration Department director general Moola Milomo.

This was in connection with Friday’s incident in which the former Head of State was prevented by immigration officers at Kenneth Kaunda International airport from travelling to South Africa to attend a conference.
