New figures show that there are 386,000 out-of-school children in Liberia-an increase of 34,000 since data was last recorded in 2009, UNESCO said.
According to UNESCO's new data, the numbers of out-of-school children stagnate, while aid to basic education falls by 6% in a year. The statistics show that 57 million children were out of school in 2011, a drop of just two million from the year before.
