LITTLE HAS BEEN heard of the uncontrolled issuance of Private Use Permits (PUP) licenses, an issue which sparked off national concerns about the Liberian Forestry sector, which later forced the government to halt the process.
THE ISSUANCE OF PUP license was stopped six months ago when the Government of Liberia suspected frauds and set up a Special Independent Investigative Board (SIIB) to probe into the wrongful handling of the PUP process.
