Malawi: Mzuzu City to Recycle Refuse and Unveil a New Dumpsite

Mzuzu — Barely three months after Deputy Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Godfrey Kamanya ordered closure of Mzuzu's sole dumpsite (Mchengautuwa), the city's council has decided to introduce a new dumpsite to be opened at the end of this year.

The new dump site will not only be used to dispose of the wastes but also used as a waste recycling point at Nsilo area in the city.
