Eritrea: Gul'e Inhabitants Renovating Micro-Dam in Collaboration With Members of People's Army

Asmara — The inhabitants of Gul'e village, Central region, said that they are engaged in the renovation of a micro-dam in collaboration with members of the People's Army, and anticipate to finalize the task before the onset of the rainy season.

Among the members of the People's Army, Ahmed Ali Sheikh and Ogbai Adhanom explained that they are committed towards backing government endeavors of improving the livelihood of citizens, and asserted that they would work hard for the realization of the cherished goal.

Out of the inhabitants, Mr. Suleiman Saleh and Ms. Meryem Seid expressed conviction that the renovation of the micro-dam would be finalized in the time set in line with the momentum of the process. They also disclosed that more than 20 hectares in the area could be put under cultivation provided it impounds full water capacity.
