Liberia: Right Groups to CBL Boss' Defense

Consortiums of Right Groups in Liberia have risen to the occasion in defense of Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) Governor, Mills Jones, whose recent gestured to business institutions and student groups are claiming public attention.

The executive Director, Media United to Enhance Democracy, Ralph Brown frowned on showiness that marred the funeral of the mother of Governor Jones, alleging that those who showed up were paid US$250.00 each. He also claimed that that Governor used tax payers money to print T-Shirts, rent buses for the various groupings to attend his mother's funeral. Also, he indicated that Governor Jones is using tax payers' money to unveil himself to the Liberian people. He called on Liberians to question the integrity of the Governor.
