The Turkish Exim Bank is granting a US$ 250 million credit facility to support trade between Gambia and Turkey, a government release has revealed. The release noted that the granting of the credit facility follows successful negotiations in May 2013 between The Government of The Gambia and the Bank.
According to the release, "The facility which can also be used by Gambian public institutions to finance goods and services from Turkey has been described as a landmark achievement in the enhancement of economic cooperation between The Gambia and Turkey."
