Lilongwe — Mkukula First Grade Magistrate court on Mondaysentenced Chimwanza Chikhosi to nine months imprisonment with hard labour for being found in possession of a fire arm without license which is contrary to section 1 (a) of fire arms Act.
Kanengo police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Salome Chibwana told Malawi News Agency that police received a tip from the general public that Chikhosi was possessing a fire arm without a license which is also giving pressure to the people living surrounding the area he was staying.
